SETTING AS CHARACER
Whether your setting is the middle of Highway 5 or a Left Bank bistro, it must
be real. The setting you choose as a writer must come alive to your
readers. It must grab their attention and hold it.
Equally important: what does your scene say about the characters you've
chosen to inhabit it? What is the message going out to your readers? How
will your setting engage them?
Best selling mystery author Cara Black promises to share her research
secrets and descriptive techniques.
